Oleg Semenukha (*1974) is a significant Czech violin maker coming from Ukraine. He has been living in the Czech Republic since 2004. Though Oleg graduated as a sculptor at the Academy of Arts in Lvov, violin making became his destiny. He is a member of the Guild of violin makers of Prague since 2014 and of the Czech Circle of the Master Violin Makers since 2016. He has been collaborating as restorer with Jan Špidlen. This violin was built after the model Antonio Stradivari Il Cremonese 1715 especially for the competition Triennale in Italian Cremona, held in the same year. Therefor it is fully varnished though Oleg Semenukha usually uses antiquing and patina. The sound is very powerful.
